AND YES ...
... each one of these babies packs 18 grams of fat. That's one cookie, people.
ONE. LOUSY. COOKIE.
And it's not even that big either! So now I'm stuck with this bag of delicious fat that I would have NEVER bought had I known. I didn't even bother to LOOK at calorie/fat count (the way I normally do) because I have it in my head that I can eat anything as long as it's raw. That's what they say right? You don't have to worry about calories! You don't have to worry about fat! It's all GOOD FAT! So I have olive oil on my salads and avocados and I don't worry when I grab a handful of cashews (or three) during the day. IT'S RAW! IT'S ALLOWED! Well ya know what, raw or not - just one of these little cookies packs as much fat as TWO McDonald's Hamburgers.
What I don't understand is that my favorite cookie from Trader Joes - the chocolate covered coconut macaroon - which tastes JUST LIKE this cookie except this cookie doesn't come with chocolate - only costs 4.00, has about 20 cookies in the package AND ONLY HAS 2.5 GRAMS OF FAT! What gives????
I will say I haven't been hungry since I had the cookie. And I feel really fat. So there's that.
